Kawasaki Disease...- motorcycle failure or health disease?

When Jeff Travolta died...it did not struck me. But when I heard the reason...(hmmm is it true?) I could not believe it. Not because he was too young...or not even because he was the son of Hollywood actor John Travolta....but because he died dahil sa KAWASAKI....wuuuuuuuuuuwat??? Motor ba yun??? My father was a Kawasaki Driver...In fact my grandpa ( when they were rich pa) owned three Kawasaki Motorcycles. Kawasaki was one of the best Motor companies way back 1970-1980 ( I guess). So that's it...however Jeff's cause of death was different. It was not because he was bumped by a tricycle or watever. He was diagnosed by a Kawasaki disease... What the hell is Kawasaki disease!!!??? According to http://kidshealth.org/parent/medical/heart/kawasaki.html
Kawasaki disease is an illness that involves the skin, mouth, and lymph nodes, and most often affects kids under age 5. The cause is unknown, but if the symptoms are recognized early, kids with Kawasaki disease can fully recover within a few days. Untreated, it can lead to serious complications that can affect the heart.
Kawasaki disease occurs in 19 out of every 100,000 kids in the United States. It is most common among children of Japanese and Korean descent, but can affect all ethnic groups.
Now, the question is...does it affect every filipino? That i do not know. I have searched from any website and it says that they can only provide "Extrapolated Statistics". These statistics are calculated extrapolations of various prevalence or incidence rates against the populations of a particular country or region. The statistics used for prevalence/incidence of Kawasaki disease are typically based on US, UK, Canadian or Australian prevalence or incidence statistics, which are then extrapolated using only the population of the other country. This extrapolation calculation is automated and does not take into account any genetic, cultural, environmental, social, racial or other differences across the various countries and regions for which the extrapolated Kawasaki disease statistics below refer to.
So there....he he he... nothing to add...but I guess...we need to know that our babies can be affected by this disease in any chance...
